“ The food was splendid. Flavors hit every mark both liquid and solids. The server was pleasant and efficient. I enjoyed the ambiance the music lighting and volume of the patrons. It was lively and yet chill. A certain return. I thought it was it was amazing. ”
“ We celebrated my husband's 42nd birthday at Print Works Bistro, and it was truly wonderful. We made the drive from Raleigh to enjoy dinner there. Our server, Anna, was exceptional and incredibly kind to both us and our guests. Upon arrival, we approached the host stand, informed them of our reservation, and were seated right away. Having visited PWB before, I often forget just how beautiful the restaurant is, especially at night; walking through the space really sets the mood. Once seated, Anna promptly took our drink orders and returned shortly after to take our dinner selections. Here's what we ordered SMOKED SALMON CROQUETTE 15 lemon rouille, dill GRILLED SALMON* 29 balsamic mustard glaze, crème fraiche mashed potatoes, French green beans Crispy Brussels Sprouts bacon, leeks 6 Crème Fraîche Mashed Potatoes 4 Wine 13 PROFITEROLES 9 pastry puffs, housemade vanilla bean ice cream, warm chocolate sauce *FONSECA 2014 Late Bottled Vintage 6.00 Housemade Vanilla Bean Ice Cream The food was served promptly, which was quite impressive. It arrived hot and delicious. However, I was slightly let down that the Salmon Croquettes were smaller than depicted in the photo. While my sides were tasty, they were presented on the same plate, which detracted from the overall presentation; I had anticipated a more refined dish or plating. Overall, everything was enjoyable, and Anna's service was exceptional. We look forward to our next visit! ”
“ This restaurant was absolutely beautiful. It had a very classy, french, upscale, and open atmosphere. Everything was very clean and organized. The staff and our server were nice and helpful. The menu had a huge wine selection. Our table ordered the calamari, beignets, and cinnamon bun as appetizers. One of the best calamari I've had as it wasn't too chewy and had a good crisp to it. The beignets could've been a bit more fluffy. The cinnamon bun was very sweet and moist. I ordered the duck confit hash and enjoyed it. The duck wasn't too gamey. I can't wait to dine here again. There are many areas for great photo options. ”
“ I haven't updated my review here in awhile, and things just get better and better. This week we visited with friends and had a wonderful late New Years celebration. We visited on a Saturday evening for dinner, and from the moment we got out of our vehicles we were put in a celebratory mood with the white lights guiding our path to the door. The ambiance and service could not be better. Everything was on point. I enjoyed my trout as much as my dinner companions enjoyed their meals of steak frites, lamb and the dinner special. All were perfectly cooked as requested. The table side bread was served warm and with roasted garlic, and my husband was particularly fond of the black rice. Of course we will return! ”
“ My hubby and I enjoyed NYE dinner (2024) at PWB as part of the Three Wishes hotel package offered by the Proximiy and OHenry Hotels (same ownership), and overall, it was a really good experience. We started with the truffle fries as an appetizer--absolutely delicious! The bread with roasted garlic and butter was fantastic. As a carb junkie, I could've made a meal out of just that with an entire loaf. For entrees, my husband had the chicken schnitzel, and he really enjoyed it. I ordered the short rib, which was flavorful, but honestly, it was a little tougher than I expected. I did enjoy the potato bacon fritters and the roasted carrot sides The seasonal cocktails were fantastic, though, and the staff was so accommodating when I decided to send back my pomegranate martini for something else. No attitude at all, just great service. The atmosphere is beautiful and inviting. I'd definitely go back, but next time, I might try something different for my main course. It was a busy night, but we were seated, orders taken and served in a reasonable time, and the holiday decorations and seasonal music made the wait time seem shorter. ”
“ My friend and I ate here on a Sunday morning without a reservation and were seated immediately! It was quite busy, though, so we may have just gotten lucky and snagged one of their last open tables. Our server was very kind and attentive. Our food came out quickly and was top notch! The flatbread was thinner than I was expecting (the crust was crunchy) but the flavor combination was elite. The beignets were delicious, especially with the warm chocolate sauce. We were seated next to a window and had a lovely view of the garden. Definitely planning on revisiting during my next trip to Greensboro! ”
“ Ordered: LAMB NAVARIN (slow-braised lamb, pearl onions, turnip, white wine mushroom ragout, crème fraîche mashed potatoes) BUTTERSCOTCH CRÈME BRÛLÉE brown sugar pecan cookie Ambiance: 5/5 You can set a reservation. I came here to jump start my birthday celebration. I'm never disappointed in my meal or drink when I come to Print Work Bistro. I came for dinner with a friend. Every bite of my dishes were excellent. I finished everything on my plate. I'm contemplating going back again while these items remaining their menu. I believe they used alcohol in their creme brûlée as I tasted it. If you're someone who does not lie alcohol in theirs I would suggest you select another dessert. ”
“ Always an amazing time when I visit print works! Austin- our server was fabulous! This is the second time we had the pleasure of having him as our server and his attention to detail makes for a fantastic experience. We had a large party today and he did not skip a beat! The shrimp and grits was just what I needed on this cool fall morning and the grapefruit mimosa really accelerated the experience. Always a 10 out of 10 ”
